MARCY, N.Y. – SUNYIT All-NEAC pitcher Joseph Redmond (Stone Ridge, N.Y. / Rondout Valley H.S.) was named to the D3baseball.com All-Region 2^nd Team on Monday for the New York Region.

Redmond, who was already named to the NEAC All-Conference 1^st Team after a brilliant junior campaign with the Wildcats, is one of just two NEAC players to make the New York All-Region team, as Keuka first baseman Jon Borchert was also named to the D3baseball.com All-New York 2^nd Team.

Redmond led the NEAC in several pitching categories, including ERA (1.20), complete games (5), and shutouts (4), while throwing a team-high 75.0 innings in the 2014 season.
