GANSEVOORT, N.Y. - Joseph Redmond (Stone Ridge, N.Y.) has been named the NEAC Baseball Pitcher of the Week after an excellent outing for the SUNY Institute of Technology Wildcats.  The junior tossed a complete-game, four-hit shutout against Cazenovia College Thursday, striking out eight batters while walking three in the huge 10-0 conference win that helped the Wildcats clinch the fourth and final spot in this weekend's NEAC Championship Tournament.  The complete game and the shutout were Redmond's five and fourth such performances of the season, respectively, which both lead the conference, as does his 1.31 earned run average.  He also ranks second in the conference in wins (6) and third in strikeouts (54) for the Wildcats, who closed the regular season with a 10-8 NEAC record.
