SUNYIT sophomore Anthony Ragosta (Troy, N.Y. / Troy H.S.) ripped a walk-off base hit to win the game for the Wildcats in the 9th, scoring Joseph O'Rourke (Camden, N.Y. / Camden H.S.), who had a 2-RBI triple earlier in the inning to tie the game at 8-8.

In between games, seniors Jhomel Solano (Bronx, N.Y. / Cristo Rey H.S.), Devin Frye (Barneveld, N.Y. / Holland Patent H.S.), Joseph Szepessy (Athens, N.Y. / Coxsackie-Athens H.S.), Michael Rose (Chatham, N.Y. / Chatham), Chandler Evans (New Hartford, N.Y. / New Hartford), Brandon Meszko (Syracuse, N.Y. / Westhill H.S.), and Daniel Wiecek (Fort Plain, N.Y. / Fort Plain H.S.) were honored for their contributions to SUNYIT Athletics.

The Wildcats dropped the first game 7-0, but rebounded to take the second game behind a 2-for-4, 3 RBI performance from O'Rourke, and a 2-for-3 day by Ragosta that included the game-winning RBI.
