SUNY Poly Athletics

The SUNY Poly Athletic Department is excited to welcome Abin Boris as its new Athletics Communications Director. Abin will oversee all daily operations in the athletic communications department, including gameday management, post-game recaps, in-game statistics, website management, and social media posts, among other duties. 

Abin comes to SUNY Poly from WKTV where he was an assignment manager on the daily news. He helped the station develop stories, prepare and rewrite content, post stories to the station’s website and social media pages, and create multimedia graphics to help with on-air announcements. 

Abin graduated from Utica University, obtaining two bachelor's degrees; a Bachelor of Arts in Communications and Media, and a Bachelor of Science in Public Relations. While at Utica, he served as the Sports & Music Director; hosting live shows, writing and editing scripts for broadcasts, and helping with various gameday management tasks.
