WVB: Morrisville Serves Wildcats a 3-0 Loss.

UTICA, N.Y. – SUNY Poly women's volleyball lost to Morrisville St. 3-0 on Tuesday night. Morrisville's offense dominated the game, hitting .313 compared to Poly's -.068. The Wildcats are now 0-17 this season. Morrisville improved to 14-7.

 

Morrisville's Emily Huppee was the game's leading scorer with nine kills, seven digs, and one block assist. Brianna Gates also had a solid performance with 10 kills, two errors, and a hitting percentage of .471.

 

Siobhan Moore played a crucial role in Morrisville's success, assisting on 15 of the team's 31 kills. Defensively, Morrisville's Marina Megson and Kada Tillman each had one block assist, contributing to the team's total of four. Morrisville also had 12 aces, with Megson leading the way with four.

 

Poly struggled to get their offense going, with Samantha Dee's three kills and Michaela Bradshaw's two kills and seven assists being the team's top performers. Sabrina Trimblett had two aces, while Brooke Durfee had a team-high 12 digs. Despite their efforts, Poly was unable to secure a set win, dropping to 0-17 on the season and 0-2 in conference play. Morrisville improved their overall record to 14-7 and remained undefeated in conference play at 2-0.
