WVB: Season Highs for Draper, Bradshaw, and Durfee Not Enough as Wildcats Drop Two at Keuka Tri-Match.

KEUKA PARK, N.Y. - The SUNY Poly women's volleyball lost two matches on Saturday to fall to 0-16 this season. The Wildcats lost their first match of the tri-match to Hilbert 3-2. They lost their second match 3-1 to Keuka.

 

MATCH 1:

Hilbert - 3

SUNY Poly - 2

NOTABLE PERFORMANCES:

  • Emma Draper had a season-high 13 kills for the Wildcats in the match. She also had a season-high five service aces and tied her season high with 11 digs.
  • Michaela Bradshaw had a career-high 11 kills, had a season-high five aces, tied her season high with 13 digs, and had 26 assists.
  • Ryan Fitzgerald had 10 kills, nine digs, and a pair of service aces.
  • Brooke Durfee had a career-high 27 digs for the Wildcats.
  • Hilbert was led by Michaela Rice and Maria Spinelli who had 10 and eight kills respectively. Rice also had five aces and nine digs.
  • Jaden Helbig had a match-high seven aces and a team-high 15 assists.

NOTABLE PERFORMANCES:

  • Emma Draper led the Wildcats with five kills, a solo block, two block assists, and a pair of digs.
  • Brooke Durfee had 24 digs for the Wildcats.
  • Megan Peek had 17 digs and a kill for the Wildcats.
  • Molly Burdick had a pair of solo blocks for SUNY Poly.
  • Cameron Knapp and Sydney Haust had nine kills each for Keuka. Haust also recorded five aces and 15 digs.
  • Keuka's Casey Hunziker had a match-high six aces and a match-high 28 aces. She also had nine digs and a kill.
  • Emma Sipos had a match-high 26 digs for Keuka.

 

UP NEXT:

The Wildcats will take on the SUNY Delhi Broncos on Wednesday night in North Atlantic Conference play. The game is scheduled for a 7:00 PM start at SUNY Delhi. The last time these two teams met was on October 24th of 2021. The Wildcats lost the match 3-0 on the road.
