MARCY, N.Y. -  The SUNY Poly women's soccer team won 3-0 on Sunday evening against the NVU-Lyndon Hornets. Goals from Brooke Bush, Kaitlyn Daley, and Hannah Shipley would propel the Wildcats to a shutout victory. With the win, the Wildcats move to 4-2-3 on the season and 3-1-2 in North Atlantic Conference play. The game wrapped up the Wildcats Breast Cancer Awareness weekend. HOW IT HAPPENED: Right from the start, the Wildcats would control the pace of the game, spending the majority of the game attacking the Hornets net. After a few close chances, it would be Hannah Shipley starting the scoring for the Wildcats, finding the net in the 32nd minute. The Wildcats would keep the Hornets attack to one shot in the first half, which was knocked away by goalkeeper Michalyn Fagan. The Wildcats would hold a 1-0 lead going into halftime.

The second half continued to be controlled by the Wildcats, who netted two goals in the 68th and 72nd minute. Kaitlyn Daley and Brooke Bush would round out the scoring for the Wildcats, both scoring well placed goals that were out of the reach of NVU-Lyndon's goalkeeper.

Stellar goalkeeping by NVU-Lyndon's Karly Cordwell would keep the Hornets in the game, who recorded 17 saves in the loss.
