WSOC: Wildcats Season Comes to an End With 3-1 NAC Quarterfinal Loss at Delhi.

DELHI, N.Y. - The SUNY Poly women's soccer team's season ended on Saturday with a loss to the SUNY Delhi Broncos in the North Atlantic Conference (NAC) Quarterfinals. The Wildcats struck first in the game, taking a 1-0 lead in the 14th minute, but Delhi scored three goals down the stretch to earn a 3-1 win. Delhi advances to the NAC Semifinal game tomorrow against Cazenovia. 

 

The Wildcats scored the first goal of the game in the 14th minute to take a 1-0 lead. The goal was scored by Kate Donnelly. Donnelly scored on a chip shot from deep that beat the goalie high. It was her fourth goal of the season. Delhi tied up the game in the first half with a goal in the 42nd minute. They would add two more late in the second half to earn the win. Michalyn Fagan made 12 saves in goal for the Wildcats. Kelsey Innes had three points on a goal and an assist for the Broncos. Alexa DuBoisd and Dayanara Garcia each scored a goal for Delhi in the game. Olivia Curry and Becky Drumm each had an assist.
