LYNDONVILLE, Vt. - The SUNY Poly women's soccer team went on the road on Saturday and won their second North Atlantic Conference (NAC) 5-0 over the Northern Vermont - Lyndon Hornets. The Wildcats scored early and often en route to the win. They are now 4-7-0 this season with a 2-3-0 NAC record.
HOW IT HAPPENED:
The Wildcats had five different players score goals in the game. SUNY Poly opened up the scoring in the third minute when Ashley Kiuber netted a through ball from Chloe Smith to take a 1-0 lead. Hannah Shipley scored the Wildcat's second goal of the game on a deep shot outside the 18 in the ninth minute. The Wildcat's third goal was a tap-in by Kaitlyn Daley who was in great position to score in the middle of the box off a cross from Emily Arnold. Sarah George scored the Wildcat's fourth goal in the 54th minute off a pass from Kaitlyn Daley to take a 4-0 lead in the game. The Wildcat's fifth and final goal was scored by Montana Wolf in the 86th minute. Wolf scored the goal by winning a scramble in the box.
NOTABLE PERFORMANCES:

Kaitlyn Daley had three points in the game in two goals and an assist. Daley leads the Wildcats with 16 points and seven goals on the year.

Sarah George scored her third goal of the season for the Wildcats. Her season point total is now at nine.

Montana Wolf scored her first goal of the season in the 86th minute. She now has four points this season.

Hannah Shipley's goal in the ninth minute of the game was the first of her career for the Wildcats.

Ashley Kiuber scored the first goal of the game for the Wildcats. It was her second goal of the season.

Michalyn Fagan earned the win in goal for the Wildcats to improve to 3-5 on the year. She made one save in the shutout.
