WSOC: Wildcats Lose to Morrisville State on the Road.

MORRISVILLE, N.Y. - The SUNY Poly women's soccer team lost on Wednesday night 2-0 to the Morrisville State Mustangs in non-conference play. The Mustangs started fast with a goal in the ninth minute to take a 1-0 lead. Nearly 70 minutes later, the Mustangs scored an insurance goal to earn their third win of the season. The Wildcats are now 1-2 this season. 

 

The Wildcat offense did manage to take eight shots in the game, putting three of those shots on goal. All three shots on goal were saved by the Mustang keeper Meaghan Miller who recorded her third win of the season. Wildcat goalkeeper Michalyn Fagan made six saves in the game. Brianne Barnes and Rachel Davis were the goal scorers for the Mustangs. 

 

UP NEXT: 

The Wildcats will head to Syracuse to take on SUNY ESF on Friday, September 17th. The game is scheduled for a 4:00 PM start.
