ALBANY, N.Y. - The SUNY Poly women's soccer team traveled to Sage College on Wednesday to take on the 10-2 Gators. The game went 84 minutes scoreless as both sides' defenses were able to keep the offences in check. That is until Sage finally broke through and scored with 5:30 left in regulation to take the 1-0 lead. The Gators held the lead to secure the victory over the Wildcats.

Angela Bartlett (West Winfield, N.Y. / Mount Markham HS) had a nearly flawless game in goal for the Wildcats. She recorded 12 saves on 13 shots. Unfortunately for Bartlett and the Wildcats, that one goal for the Gators would be the deciding factor.

With the loss, the Wildcats record stands at 6-5-2 on the season. The women will travel to Wells on Saturday and to Keuka on Sunday. Saturday's game will kick off at 2:15 PM and Sunday's game will begin at 3:00 PM.
