GANSEVOORT, N.Y. – The SUNY Polytechnic Women's Soccer Team had two players named to the NEAC All-Conference roster on Wednesday.
Erica Maisonet (Walkill, N.Y. / Walkill) received her second straight selection to the All-NEAC 2nd Team as the top defender for the Wildcats this year. Joining Maisonet was forward and all-time career goals leader at SUNY Poly Kristina Strang (Rotterdam, N.Y. / Schalmont).
Strang's selection was her second all-conference honor overall; she was named to the All-Conference 3rd Team back in 2010, her rookie year.
Maisonet, a junior, started all 19 games for the Wildcats this year as a defensive back. In addition to playing lockdown defense, Maisonet added 4 goals and an assist this year.
As for Strang, the senior led the Wildcats with 15 goals, and added 2 assists to give her a team-best total of 32 points. She is currently the all-time SUNY Poly record holder with 38 career goals.
