MARCY, N.Y. – A game removed from her four-goal performance that tied the SUNY Polytechnic school record for career goals (33), senior forward Kristina Strang (Rotterdam, N.Y. / Schalmont) broke the record in style during a 5-2 victory over SUNY Canton. Strang scored in the 32nd minute to set the school record, then added two more scores in the second half for her second-straight game with at least 3 goals.
Strang's 36 career goals lead Jane Burroughs '10 and Stephanie Wurz '14, with whom the senior was previously tied.
The Wildcats improved to 7-7-1 on the season and will hit the road next for a NEAC matchup with Lancaster Bible College.
