Women’s Soccer: Three Wildcats Selected to All-Conference Teams

GANSEVOORT, N.Y. – NEAC All-Conference selections for men's and women's soccer and women's volleyball were released on Friday, and once again the SUNYIT Wildcats were well-represented.

Leading the Wildcats with a selection to the All-Conference Second Team was junior Abbey Hanehan (Stillwater, N.Y. / Stillwater). Hanehan finished the year third on the team in both goals (10) and assists (3).

On the Third Team, juniors Dakota Hanley (Franklin, N.Y. / Franklin Central) and Stephanie Wurz (Whitesboro, N.Y. / Notre Dame) represented SUNYIT. Hanley came on exceptionally strong the second half of the season to lead SUNYIT in goals (13) and points (27), while Wurz provided steady leadership for the Wildcats and shouldered much of the scoring load (along with Hanehan) early in the season for the Wildcats, finishing with 12 goals and 25 points.
