WLAX: Wildcats Beaten by Hartwick on the Road.

ONEONTA, N.Y. - The SUNY Poly women's lacrosse team lost to Hartwick on Wednesday night 20-1. Hartwick scored the game's first 19 goals. The Wildcats are now 1-5 this season.

 

The game was a complete blowout, as Hartwick dominated from start to finish, scoring nine goals in the first quarter alone. Kristen Vaccarelli led the way for Hartwick with four goals and one assist, while Emily Madigan and Claudia Pollaro each had three goals and one assist. SUNY Poly's lone goal came in the third quarter, scored by Molly Burdick. Jayden Brown, the SUNY Poly goalie, made 14 saves but allowed 20 goals in the loss.

The Wildcats will open their North Atlantic Conference (NAC) schedule on Saturday, April 1st at 11:00 AM. The game will be played at SUNY Poly's Wildcat Field and will be streamed live on the SUNY Poly Sports Network (SPSN).
