MARCY, N.Y. - The SUNY Poly women's basketball team improved to 3-0 in North Atlantic Conference (NAC) play with a 30 point win over Cazenovia 75-45. Molly Burdick reached the 1,000 career point milestone in the game with a double-double. The Wildcats are now 6-2 this season.
MILESTONE GAME:
Not only did SUNY Poly junior Molly Burdick pass a huge career milestone in the game; reaching the 1,000 career point mark; she also set a new career-high with 29 points in the game. Burdick also extended her double-double streak to seven consecutive games with a 10 rebound performance. Burdick is the 11th Wildcat in program history to score 1,000 points at SUNY Poly.

Molly Burdick had a career-high 29 points, 10 rebounds, four steals, five assists, and a block in the game. She surpassed the 1,000 career point mark on a layup with 4:51 left in the game.

Lauren Denny had 12 points, 11 rebound double-double for the Wildcats. She shot 66% from the field and a game-high eight assists and a game-high six steals.

Kierra Connor had 10 points, three rebounds, and two blocks for Poly.

Arrianna Henry had 11 points, six rebounds, two steals, and three assists for Cazenovia.

Fiona Hunt had 10 points for Cazenovia.
