Wildcats Win Big as Brognano is HonoredFebruary 06, 2013MARCY, N.Y. – It was a great day for celebrations as the SUNYIT Women’s Basketball Team (11-7, 9-3 NEAC) finally defeated the visiting Fighting Tigers of SUNY Cobleskill (6-14, 5-9 NEAC), 72-51. After the game, SUNYIT senior Lyndsey Brognano (Rome, N.Y. / Rome Free Academy) was honored for becoming the school’s all-time leading scorer earlier in the season. Brognano broke a record that had stood for almost 30 years at SUNYIT, and was also featured in the sports section of the Utica Observer –Dispatch today.

Wildcats Upset at SUNY Cobleskill, 59-56January 30, 2013COBLESKILL, N.Y. – The SUNYIT Women’s Basketball Team (9-7, 7-3 NEAC) were upset for the second time this season at SUNY Cobleskill (6-12, 5-7 NEAC) Wednesday night, losing a wrestling match to the Fighting Tigers, 59-56. The two teams combined for 44 fouls and 41 turnovers in the game.
