GENESEO, N.Y. - The SUNY Poly men’s cross country team competed at the Mike Woods Cross Country Invitational on Saturday afternoon, a race hosted by SUNY Geneseo at the National Warplane Museum. The Wildcats placed 25th in the race.
CLINTON, N.Y. - The SUNY Poly men’s cross country traveled across town to compete in the Hamilton College Invitational on Saturday afternoon. The field of 73 runners, representing seven teams, competed in an 8K race on Hamilton’s campus.
UTICA, N.Y. - The SUNY Poly cross country team hosted the 2023 Wildcat Weekend Classic on Saturday afternoon. The team placed fifth out of 10 teams with a team score of 143. The Wildcats honored their three seniors, Spencer Daley, Caleb McDermott, and Sean VanCoughnett after the race with a short ceremony to celebrate their last race on their home course.
CANANDAIGUA, N.Y. – The SUNY Poly men’s cross-country team finished in third place in the Bruce Bridgeman 8k Invitational hosted by Finger Lakes Community College. The Wildcats placed three runners in the top 20, and would finish with a team score of 79 points. SUNY Morrisville would win the race with a score of 27 points.
COBLESKILL, N.Y.- The SUNY Poly men’s cross-country team participated in the Steven A. Warde Invitational on Saturday, September 9th, at SUNY Cobleskill. The Wildcats placed 4th in the 8k event. SUNY Cobleskill finished in first place with a team score of 32 points, while placing five runners in the top 10.

ROCHESTER, N.Y. – The SUNY Poly Men’s Cross-Country team traveled to Genesee Valley State Park on Saturday for the 8k NCAA Division III Niagara Region Conference Cross Country Championships. The University of Rochester was the host team for the event. SUNY Geneseo would win the race with a team score of 41, followed by SUNY Brockport in second place with a score of 77, and New York University in third place with a team score of 114.
CANTON, N.Y. – The SUNY Poly Men’s Cross-Country team traveled to SUNY Canton on Saturday for the 8k North Atlantic Conference Cross Country Championships. SUNY Delhi would win the race with a team score of 37, winning comfortably over the rest of the field. Maine-Farmington would finish in second with a team score of 61.

CAZENOVIA, N.Y.- The SUNY Poly men’s cross country team finished 2nd on Saturday morning at the Cazenovia Homecoming Invitational 8k race at Cazenovia College. The Wildcats placed four runners in the top ten for a team score of 42. Morrisville State would win the invitational with a team score of 40.
MARCY, N.Y. – The SUNY Poly men's Cross-Country team hosted the 9th annual Wildcat Classic on Saturday morning at the SUNY Poly cross-country course. The Wildcats ran a solid race, finishing in second place with 43 points. Utica University won the race with a team score of 22. Prior to the race, the Wildcats celebrated the careers of five Wildcat seniors at the last home race of this season. Eh Kaw Thaw, William Dambra, De’von McClendon, Garrett Jones, and Joseph Killian were the seniors recognized for the Wildcats.
CANTON, N.Y. – The SUNY Poly Men’s Cross-Country team finished second at the SUNY Canton Kangaroo Invitational. St. Lawrence would win the invitational with a team score of 31, edging out the Wildcats who finished with a team score of 50. Seven total teams competed in the invitational.

Five men's teams and four women's teams competed in the event. SUNY Poly took first place in the men's race, placing all five of their scoring runners in the top ten spots, including an individual second-place finish.

GENESEO, N.Y. - The SUNY Poly men's cross country team placed 17th at the NCAA DIII Niagara Regional Race on Saturday. The race was hosted by SUNY Geneseo at the National Warplane Museum. The Wildcats scored 498 points, led by an 81st place finish by Jake Baisley. SUNY Geneseo dominated the regional, finishing with a team score of 28, 94 points lower than the second-place finisher.
WATERVILLE, Maine - Two SUNY Poly men’s cross country runners received North Atlantic Conference (NAC) All-Conference Recognition after a solid 2021 season for the Wildcats.
MARCY, N.Y. - The SUNY Poly men’s cross country team placed sixth at the North Atlantic Conference (NAC) Championship race on Saturday. The Wildcats scored 128 points, led by 12th and 15th place finishes by Garrett Jones and Jake Baisley. The SUNY Cobleskill Fighting Tigers ran away with the NAC Championship Title, scoring 31 points to beat the second-place team by 23 points.
MARCY, N.Y. - All five of the Wildcats fall teams will compete in North Atlantic Conference Postseason events this weekend. The SUNY Poly men’s soccer team will host three games this weekend to determine the NAC West Division Champion. The men’s and women’s cross country teams will be competing in the NAC Championship Meet this Saturday at Thomas. The women’s volleyball and women’s soccer teams will both be heading to SUNY Delhi on Saturday for NAC Quarterfinal games with Cobleskill and Delhi respectively.
CLINTON, N.Y. - The SUNY Poly cross country teams traveled across town to take part in the 2021 Hamilton College Invitational hosted by Hamilton College. Nine men’s teams and seven women’s teams competed in the Invitational. Hamilton won both the women’s and men’s races with 32 points in the women’s race and 26 points in the men’s race. The Wildcat women placed seventh with 195 points and the men placed sixth with 176 points.

The Wildcat men placed 28th out of 33 teams, surpassing some familiar faces along the way. The women did not place in the race as only three team members participated.

WATERVILLE, Maine - The SUNY Poly cross country teams traveled to Waterville, Maine for their first away meet of the 2021 season at the Thomas College Cross Country Invitational. Six teams competed in the men’s 8K race and four teams competed in the women’s 5K race. In the men’s 8K, Southern Maine took first place. Three of their runners placed in the top five places in the race. All five of their scoring runners placed in the top 15. In the women’s 5K, Husson took first place, with three top-five finishers and seven top-twenty finishers.
MARCY, N.Y. - The SUNY Poly cross country teams hosted the 14th Annual Short Course Invitational on Saturday. Nine men’s teams and eight women’s teams competed in the first meet at SUNY Poly since 2019. Cobleskill won the men’s race, placing all five of their scoring runners in the top 15 and claiming the top three podium positions. William Smith won the women’s race with a score of 45, also placing all five scoring runners in the top 15. SUNY Poly placed fifth in the men’s race and did not place in the women’s race, as only three Wildcat women competed.
MARCY, N.Y. - The SUNY Poly Athletics Department has released the 2021 schedule for the Wildcat men’s and women’s cross country teams. The Wildcats schedule will feature six regular-season races, two of which will be held at the Wildcats home course. The post-season is scheduled to start on October 30th.
COBLESKILL, N.Y. - The SUNY Poly men’s cross country team took runner-up at the NEAC Championship Race for the second consecutive season. The race was hosted by Cobleskill St. who went on to capture the NEAC title in the race. Five Wildcats earned NEAC All-Conference Awards after finishing inside the top 21.
