MXC: SUNY Poly Places 4th at Steven A. Warde Invitational.

COBLESKILL, N.Y.- The SUNY Poly men's cross-country team participated in the Steven A. Warde Invitational on Saturday, September 9th, at SUNY Cobleskill. The Wildcats placed 4th in the 8k event. SUNY Cobleskill finished in first place with a team score of 32 points, while placing five runners in the top 10. 

Omar Mohamed from Mohawk Valley CC would win the race with a time of 27:13.62. 

SUNY Poly had multiple runners with excellent times in the 8k race, with Spencer Daley finishing in the top 10 with a time of 30:35.04. Noah Breedy and Caleb McDermott finished just outside the top 20, finishing in 21st and 22nd place. Breedy finished with a time of 32:29.89, and McDermott finished with a time of 32:32.83.

The Wildcats will travel to the University of Rochester to compete in the Yellowjacket Invitational on Saturday, September 16th. The race will begin at 10:00 AM.
