MXC: SUNY Poly Places Fourth at Hamilton Invitational.

CLINTON, N.Y. - The SUNY Poly men's cross country team placed fourth out of seven teams with 96 points on Saturday at the Hamilton College Invitational. Hamilton College won the event as a team and LeMoyne's Matthew Bartolotta was the winner of the race. The Wildcat's top finisher was Spencer Daley.

 

LeMoyne' Matthew Bartolotta won the race with an 8K time of 26:20.7. Hamilton College placed their top five runners at places two through six to win the team event. The Continentals were led by George Brady who finished second with a time of 26:29.6.

 

The Wildcat's top five finishers were Spencer Daley, De'von McClendon, Aidan Brown, Joseph Killian, and Noah Breedy. They scored 16, 18, 19, 20, and 23 points respectively. Daley finished the race with a time of 28:24.4.

The Wildcats will head back to Hamilton in two weeks to run in the Hamilton College Short Course Tune-up. The race is scheduled for Saturday, October 22nd at 11:00 AM.
