MXC: Wildcats take 1st place in 15th Annual Short Course Invitational.

MARCY, N.Y. – The SUNY Poly Men's Cross-Country teams opened up their 2022 season on Saturday morning in the 15th Annual Wildcats Short Course Invitational. Five men's teams and four women's teams competed in the event. SUNY Poly took first place in the men's race, placing all five of their scoring runners in the top ten spots, including an individual second-place finish.

SUNY Poly had a strong showing in the men's race with a score of 31. Joseph Killian and Spencer Daley placed 2nd and 5th overall for the Wildcats. The Wildcats also had runners place 7th, 8th, 9th, 11th, and 12th. The best time of the day on the men's side was Avion Harris from Herkimer County CC, posting a time of 21:06.

The Wildcats will travel to SUNY Cobleskill on Saturday, September 3rd for the Steven A. Ward Invitational. The races are scheduled to begin at 11:00 AM.
