MARCY, N.Y. - The season came to a heartbreaking end on Wednesday for the SUNY Poly men's soccer team at the hands of the Lancaster Bible College Chargers. The Wildcats fell in overtime 1-0 to the Chargers. The Wildcat defense was as great as advertised, but the team just couldn't seem to push across a goal.

Neither team was able to score in regulation due to some stingy defensive play, sending the game into overtime. In overtime Lancaster would strike 45 seconds into the period to win the game. The goal started with a corner kick by Josiah Groff. The ball was played right at the goal and was deflected in off the chest of Justin Stoltzfus. The loss is certainly a tough one to swallow for the Wildcats who matched up great with the Chargers just last week; defeating them 4-2.

The Wildcats finish their season on a down note, however, the team had a great regular season recording an overall record of 11-6-2 (8-4-1 NEAC) which translated to a 4th place finish.
