CHAMBERSBURG, PA - The SUNY Poly men's soccer team tied Wilson on Saturday 2-2 in double overtime. The game looked to be going Wilson's way early as they jumped out to a 2-0 lead just 3 minutes into the game. The Wildcats would battle back late to tie the game, forcing overtime where neither team was able to net the game winner.

Both of SUNY Poly's goals came from junior Nick McBride (Rotterdam, N.Y. / Mohonasen HS). His first goal was a header off of a feed from Gerard Nappe (Shirley, N.Y. / St. John the Baptist HS) in the closing minutes of the first half. McBride would strike again in the 83rd minute to tie the game up at two. This time the goal was unassisted. The two goals bring McBride's season total to 10.

The tie for the Wildcats puts them at 8-5-2 on the season. The team will travel to Washington, D.C. on Sunday where they will square off with Gallaudet University. Game time is scheduled for 12:00 PM.
