MSOC: Wildcats Beat Penn 2-0 to Earn First NEAC Victory of the Season.

WILLIAMSPORT, Pa. - The SUNY Poly men's soccer team traveled to Penn College for their third NEAC Conference game of the season. The men went looking for their first NEAC win of the season and got it. The Wildcats of SUNY Poly won 2-0 over Penn College.

The first goal for the Wildcats were scored by Fransesco Tine (Chatham, N.Y. / Chatham HS) just before half time. The goal was assisted by Sam Speziale (Ballston Spa, N.Y. / Balston Spa HS).

The second goal was scored by Sam Speziale, unassisted in the 75th minute.

Mingoro Fanny (Bronx, N.Y. / B.E.T.A) recorded his first shutout of the season in just his second start of the season.

SUNY Poly out-shot Penn College 16-6 in the game. SUNY Poly put seven shots on goal, Penn College put just one shot on goal.

The win marks the Wildcats third on the season and their first conference win (3-4-1, 1-2 NEAC). The team will be back in action on Saturday, October 3rd when they host Penn State Abington. Live stats will be available for the game. CLICK HERE
