On Saturday it was at the hands of the Lancaster Bible College Chargers, while on Sunday it was the Penn St.-Berks Nittany Lions dealing the Wildcats a brutal double-overtime defeat.

    MARCY, N.Y. – The SUNY Polytechnic Men’s Soccer Team (5-7-2, 3-2-1 NEAC) caught a bad beat at the hands of the Union College Dutchmen (6-7-1) Tuesday night, dropping the nonconference tilt 2 to 1. The Dutchmen scored in the 83rd minute to break a 1-1 tie and held on for the victory.

    CANTON, N.Y. – The SUNY Poly Men’s Soccer Team (5-6-2) lost a non-conference tilt on Friday night, 2-1 to the Kangaroos of SUNY Canton. The Roos netted two goals in the final period to take a 2-0 lead, and withstood a late goal by the Wildcats to secure the victory.

The Golden Knights – ranked #10 in the Division III East Region – are the second regionally-ranked team the Wildcats have faced this year, as they tied #8 Utica College earlier in the year.

All that changed in an instant, as a goal in the 87th minute followed by another 17 seconds into overtime lifted SUNYIT to a win over newly-minted NEAC squad, the Pennsylvania College of Technology Wildcats (2-1, 0-1 NEAC).
