CENTERVILLE, Mass. – After taking home Men's Soccer Offensive and Defensive Player of the Week awards for the NEAC Conference on Monday, SUNYIT seniors Diego Montaleza (New York, N.Y. / MLK) and Malick Faye (Bronx, N.Y. / MLK) received the same awards for the entire Upstate New York region on Tuesday, as the pair were named the ECAC/Corvias Division III Men's Soccer Players of the Week.
The midfielder Montaleza scored 5 points on the week, while the goalkeeper Faye recorded his 5th and 6th shutouts in a pair of 2-0 wins.
