Men's Soccer: Four Wildcats Named to All-Conference Teams; Faye Goalie of the Year for Third-Straight Year

GANSEVOORT, N.Y. – NEAC All-Conference selections for men's and women's soccer and women's volleyball were released on Friday, and once again the SUNYIT Wildcats were well-represented.

In men's soccer, last year's Player of the Year and Goalie of the Year Malick Faye (Bronx, N.Y. / MLK) repeated in the latter category. In fact, it was Faye's third-straight selection as NEAC Goalie of the Year.

As a formality Faye was also selected to the NEAC All-Conference First Team, where he was joined by teammate and 2010 Player of the Year Diego Montaleza (New York, N.Y. / MLK). The selection is Montaleza's third in a row.

On the Second Team senior defender Tyler Fleming (Groton, N.Y. / Tompkins Cortland CC) made an appearance for his second straight All-Conference award (Fleming was named to the first team last season).

SUNYIT's fourth and final All-Conference winner was Josh Kimber (Chittenango, N.Y. / Chittenango), who was named to the Third Team. The junior forward had a breakout season, as he led the Wildcats with 7 goals on the year.
