MARCY, N.Y. – The SUNYIT Men's Soccer team tied with Cazenovia in their Brest Cancer Awareness game on Saturday night under the lights. The game went into double overtime and was nothing short of thrilling as both defenses put on a show.

Defense was the key in this game. Both SUNYIT and Cazenovia played good aggressive defense to keep the offensive units in check But, SUNYIT was able to out shoot Cazenovia by the slim margin of 17-12 (5-4 on goal).

As time expired in regulation, both teams readied themselves for overtime. The defenses, again, came to play in the overtime minutes. Neither team was able to land a shot on goal in the 20 minutes of overtime and the game ended in SUNYITs first tie of the season.
