GANSEVOORT, N.Y. – SUNYIT star goalie and 2011 NEAC Player of the Year Malick Faye (Bronx, N.Y. / MLK) added to his awards collection on Monday, garnering a NEAC Student-Athlete of the Week selection for leading the Wildcats to a 2-1 week.

Faye recorded a shutout and tallied 12 saves on the week to get the NEAC nod.

You can witness Faye and the rest of the Wildcat ensemble in person (and pink) this Saturday, October 20^th, at 7:00 pm, as they host Cazenovia under the lights at Wildcat Field. The men will be wearing pink jerseys to promote breast cancer awareness.
