MARCY, N.Y. – The SUNYIT Men's Soccer Team (7-7, 4-3 NEAC) shut out the SUNY Cobleskill Fighting Tigers in Cobleskill on Thursday night, 2-0.
Freshman Luke Bogar (New Hartford, N.Y. / New Hartford) put the game away early for the Wildcats, scoring his first goal of the season – a header off an excellent cross from Matt Arcidiacono (Oneonta, N.Y. / Oneonta).
The Wildcats added another goal in the 53rd minute when fellow freshman Bazo Coulibaly (Bronx, N.Y. / Kennedy) netted his second score of the year, beating the keeper inside the box for the unassisted goal.
SUNYIT will be back in action with another NEAC match this Saturday, making the long trek down to Lancaster, Pa., for a date with the Lancaster Bible College Chargers. Game time is slated for 2:00 pm.
