UTICA, N.Y. – The SUNYIT Men's Soccer team (9-5-4, 9-0-3 NEAC) will travel to Springfield, MA on Saturday to face NCAA First Round host Western New England University (WNEC) at the Golden Bears' home, Suprenant Fields. The Golden Bears finished the season with a record of 15-3-1, beating Nichols 1-0 in the Commonwealth Coast Conference Championship game to advance to the NCAA Tournament.

SUNYIT, the #3 seed in the regional tournament, will play the #2-seeded Golden Bears in the day's second match at 1:30 pm. The winner will advance to the Second Round game on Sunday to play the victor of Saturday morning's match between #1 seed St. Lawrence University and #4 SUNY Maritime.
