UTICA, NY – After both winning the North Eastern Athletic Conference Regular Season Championship, the SUNYIT men's and women's soccer teams will be hosting the NEAC Championship Tournament at Wildcat Field this Saturday, November 6 and Sunday, November 7.

The semifinals for both tournaments will take place on Saturday, with the Lady Wildcats kicking off the games at 8:30 am when they take on No. 4 seed Penn State Harrisburg, who defeated No. 5 seed Cazenovia on penalty kicks in the quarterfinal round yesterday.  The women's tournament will also include No. 2 seed Penn State Berks squaring off against No. 3 seed Keuka College at 1:00 pm.  Keuka advanced with a 4-1 win over sixth seeded Penn State Berks in yesterday's quarterfinals.

On the men's side, the Wildcats will take the field at 10:45 am Saturday to take on No. 4 seed Keuka, who took down No. 5 seed SUNY Morrisville 2-1 in the quarterfinals yesterday.  The other matchup will feature No. 2 seed Penn State Harrisburg against No. 3 seed Penn State Abington at 3:15 pm.

The women's All-Conference Team will also be announced on Saturday at 10:30 am, with the men's All-Conference Team being announced at 12:45 pm.

The women's championship match will then be played on Sunday at 11:30 am, while the men's title game will begin at 2:00 pm.

The SUNYIT women's soccer team finished a perfect 11-0 in the NEAC and a program-best 15-3 overall.  The men's team went 8-1 in the NEAC and 12-5 overall.
