Utica, NY - Following a strong 2024 campaign, Senior Goalie Joseph VanZandt and head coach Brandon Misiaszek were both honored with NAC individual season awards. VanZandt was named the NAC Defensive Player of the Year, while head coach Misiaszek was named NAC coach of the year for the third time in his career. 

In his final year with SUNY Poly, Joseph VanZandt started 11 games and produced a 5-5 record. VanZandt pushed away 110 of the 213 shots he faced this season, while also picking up seven ground balls. VanZandt was named NAC Player of the Week once this season, following games against Husson, Maine Maritime and Canton where he made 36 saves in total. 

Brandon Misiaszek won his third NAC Coach of the Year Award, following a 10-6 season that culminated in the program's second NAC Championship in school history.
