MLAX: Wildcats Win Big on the Road Over Cobleskill.

COBLESKILL, N.Y. - The SUNY Poly men's lacrosse team improved to 7-0 on Saturday with a North Atlantic Conference (NAC) win over Cobleskill. The Wildcats ran away with the game in the second half after a hard-fought, tightly contested first half with the Tigers. Six unanswered goals in the third quarter by SUNY Poly ultimately sealed the deal, giving SUNY Poly their fifth NAC win of the year. 

 

GAME NOTES: 

  • Edward Rosaschi had a monster game, recording nine points on three goals and six assists. Rosaschi also had four groundballs and a caused turnover.  

  • Brody Guido had five points on three assists and two goals. He also had two groundballs. 

  • Matt Fisher and Shane Wyman each scored three goals for the Wildcats in the win. 

  • Tyler Schmitz had a team-high three caused turnovers and three groundballs. 

  • Matthew Johnson improved to 7-0 in goal. He made six saves in 46 minutes of play. 

  • Andrew Maycock had a pair of goals. 

  • Gregory Neumann had a team-high four points for Cobleskill on three assists and a goal. 

  • Giovanni Bevaqua had three points on two goals and an assist. 

 

UP NEXT: 

The Wildcats will wrap up their regular season on Wednesday at SUNY Delhi. The game is scheduled for a 4:00 PM start.
