MBB: Gregory's 22 points Leads Wildcats to a 86-68 Win at Keuka.

KEUKA PARK, N.Y. – The Wildcat men's basketball team traveled to Keuka on Saturday looking to improve to 4-1 in North Eastern Athletic Conference play. The team did just that, beating the Wolves of Keuka 86-68.

The Wildcats led right from the break, taking the lead from the first points and never looking back. Freshman Josh Gregory (Whitesboro, N.Y.) tied his career high in the game, scoring 22 points and shooting an outstanding 78 percent from the field, and went 5-7 from three point land. Gregory rounded out his stat line with four rebounds, an assist, and a block.

Kevin Williams (Brooklyn, N.Y.) had 14 points in 17 minutes of play. He went 5-8 from the field and had six rebounds. Peyton Griffiths (Milford, N.Y) had 12 points, a game high five steals, and four assists.

Keuka's Cameron Winston led the Wolves with 16 points. His teammates Jelani Fontanez and Trevor Powell had 15 points each. Powell also had a game high seven rebounds.

The Wildcats are now 7-4 overall and are 4-1 in the NEAC. The team will take on Wells on Sunday in a conference divisional game on the road. Tip-off is scheduled for 3:00 PM.
