UTICA, NY – SUNYIT senior Calvin Logins (Lyons, NY/Keuka College) has been named the North Eastern Athletic Conference Men's Basketball Student-Athlete of the Week for the period ending December 5.

Logins had an outstanding week for the Wildcats during a tough stretch in which the team went 1-3, although they did go 1-1 in conference play.  Logins finished the week with four-game averages of 24.3 points, 7 rebounds, 2.8 steals and 2 assists while shooting 61 percent from the field.  In the week's two conference games, Logins registered 31 points, 11 rebounds and four steals in a tough 100-98 overtime loss to Penn State Berks Saturday and followed that up with a game-high 28 points in a 90-68 win over Penn State Abington Sunday.

Logins is currently second on the team in points (20.8), rebounds (7.3) and steals (1.8) per game, while shooting a team-best 58 percent from the field.

The Wildcats will be back in action tomorrow when they host conference rival Cazenovia College at the Campus Center Gym.  Tip-off is scheduled for 7:00 pm.
