CANTON, N.Y. - The SUNY Poly golf team wrapped up the first day of the NAC Golf Championship at Partridge Run Golf & Country Club on Saturday. The Wildcats shot 369 as a team on day one of the two-day tournament, putting them in 9th place.
UTICA, N.Y. - The SUNY Poly golf team hosted the second annual Wildcat Invitational Tournament on Monday afternoon, hosting seven teams. The tournament was won by Russell Sage who shot a team score of +36 to win by one. SUNY Canton’s Adam Szlamczynski won the event, shooting a 3-over 74. The Wildcats shot 356 as a team to place 5th out of seven teams.
WATERVILLE, Maine - The SUNY Poly golf team finished sixth on Sunday in the 2022 North Atlantic Conference Championship Tournament. The two-day event saw the Wildcats climb the leaderboard on day two to gain a spot from seventh to sixth in the team standings. Husson University won the Event with a team score of 590. Their top finisher Jack King won the individual title with a combined score of 142. The Wildcats were led individually by Eric Perricelli who shot a 79 on day two to finish his weekend with a combined score of 162.
WATERVILLE, Maine - The SUNY Poly golf team had a team score of 342 on day one of the North Atlantic Conference (NAC) Golf Championship Tournament. The team is currently tied with NVU-Johnson in 7th place. The Wildcat's top two scorers, William Grady and Eric Perricelli both shot 83 (+13) in their opening round.
ROME, N.Y. - The SUNY Poly golf team hosted the first SUNY Poly Golf Invitational on Tuesday at Teugega Country Club in Rome. The Wildcats finished fifth in the team standings recording a score of 359. SUNY Canton scored a 320 to win the tournament on the men’s side. On the women’s side, Geneseo won the event with a team score of 377. Jillian Draper from Geneseo won the women’s event with an 82. Utica’s Adam Woodmansee won the men’s event after a four-hole playoff.
UTICA, N.Y. - The SUNY Poly golf team finished second on Thursday at a Tri-match with Utica and SUNY Cobleskill. Utica University hosted the match at the Par 71 Yahnundasis Golf Club. The Wildcats were led by Eric Perricelli who recorded a 12 over 83 to place second overall. The match was won by Utica’s Neil Roman who shot an 82. Utica won the match with a score of 349. SUNY Poly came in second with a score of 360. Cobleskill finished third with a score of 372.
CANTON, N.Y. - The SUNY Poly golf team traveled to Canton on Tuesday to take part in the SUNY Canton Invitational at Partridge Run Golf & Country Club. SUNY Poly placed ninth overall with a team score of 352. The Winning team, St. Lawrence University, had a team score of 311.
UTICA, N.Y. - The SUNY Poly golf team lost to Utica on Thursday by 20 strokes in a midweek head-to-head match at the Yahnundasis Golf Club. The Wildcat's top finisher in the match was Eric Perricelli who recorded a 12 over 83 to place 4th. The event was won by Utica’s Jose Santos who shot a 78 on the par 71 course.
POTSDAM, N.Y. - The SUNY Poly golf team competed at the Clarkson Invitational on Tuesday, placing ninth with a team score of 369. St. Lawrence “A” won the event with a team score of 307. The top individual golfer was Cooper Evans from St. Lawrence who shot a +1 73 and won in a playoff.
DELHI, N.Y. - The SUNY Poly golf team traveled to SUNY Delhi on Sunday to compete in the SUNY Delhi Fall Invitational. The team finished their round with a 353(+69) to place fifth out of six teams. SUNY Delhi won their own Invitational with a score of 312 (+28).
COBLESKILL, N.Y. - The SUNY Poly golf team opened their inaugural season on Saturday, competing in the Cobleskill Invitational at the par 70/6163 yard Cobleskill Golf & Country Club. The Wildcats scored 350 as a team, placing 6th overall. Their top golfer, James Lynch, inked his card with a team-low +9 (79).
