GOLF: Wildcats Tied for 7th Place After Day One of the NAC Championship Tournament.

WATERVILLE, Maine - The SUNY Poly golf team had a team score of 342 on day one of the North Atlantic Conference (NAC) Golf Championship Tournament. The team is currently tied with NVU-Johnson in 7th place. The Wildcat's top two scorers, William Grady and Eric Perricelli both shot 83 (+13) in their opening round.

 

Husson University currently leads the tournament with a team score of 292 which is nine points lower than the second-place SUNY Canton Kangaroos. SUNY Canton's Anthony Marion was day one's top player. He recorded a 69 (-1) and goes into day two with a three-stroke lead.

 

The Wildcats were led on day one by a pair of 83s by Eric Perricelli and William Grady. Isaac Falk is currently in 31st place with a day-one score of 87. James Lynch and Luke Handerhan wrapped up the scoring for the Wildcats with 89s. They are tied for 39th place.

The second of two rounds in the tournament is set to start tomorrow morning at 9:30 AM   at Waterville Country Club in Waterville, Maine.
