COBLESKILL, N.Y. - The SUNY Poly golf team opened their inaugural season on Saturday, competing in the Cobleskill Invitational at the par 70/6163 yard Cobleskill Golf & Country Club. The Wildcats scored 350 as a team, placing 6th overall. Their top golfer, James Lynch, inked his card with a team-low +9 (79).

The Wildcats entered five golfers into the field. James Lynch was the low scorer with a +9 (79). He shot a 44 on the way out and a 35 on the back nine. He ended the day tied for 10th place in the field. 

The Wildcat's other scorers in the round were Isaac Falk who shot a +12 (82), Josh Komacek who shot a +23 (93), Luke Handerhan who shot a +26 (96), and Eric Perricelli who shot a +36 (106). The Wildcat golfers placed T16, 23, T31, and 35th respectively.

The Wildcats will head to Delhi, N.Y. to take part in the SUNY Delhi Invitational. The event is scheduled to tee off at 11:00 AM at The College Golf Course at Delhi.
