All Five Wildcat Teams to Compete in NAC Postseason Events This Weekend. 

MARCY, N.Y. - All five of the Wildcats fall teams will compete in North Atlantic Conference Postseason events this weekend. The SUNY Poly men's soccer team will host three games this weekend to determine the NAC West Division Champion. The men's and women's cross country teams will be competing in the NAC Championship Meet this Saturday at Thomas. The women's volleyball and women's soccer teams will both be heading to SUNY Delhi on Saturday for NAC Quarterfinal games with Cobleskill and Delhi respectively. 

 

MEN'S SOCCER: 

The Wildcat men's soccer team will host the North Atlantic Conference (NAC) Quarterfinal and Semifinal rounds for the NAC West Division. The first round is scheduled for Saturday, October 30th at 12:00 PM and 2:30 PM. The #1 seeded Wildcats will face #4 SUNY Cobleskill in the 12:00 PM game. #2 Canton will face #3 Cazenovia in the 2:30 PM game. The winners of the two Quarterfinal games will square off on Sunday, October 31st at 1:00 PM. All three of the games will be played at SUNY Poly's Wildcat Field and will be streamed live on the SUNY Poly Sports Network (SPSN).

 

CROSS COUNTRY: 

Both the men's and women's cross country teams will be traveling north to Thomas College to compete in the NAC Championship Meet. The women's race is scheduled for an 11:00 AM start and the men's race is scheduled for a 12:15 PM start. The women's race will be a 5K and the men's race is an 8K. After both races, the Champions will be honored and the All-Conference runners will be named. The first seven finishers will be named First Team All-Conference, the next eighth through 14th place finishers will be named Second Team All-Conference. The Runner of the Year will be awarded to the top finisher in each race and the Rookie of the Year will be awarded to the top rookie finishers in each race. The Coach of the year will also be selected post-race by a vote. 

 

WOMEN'S VOLLEYBALL: 

The Wildcats will head to SUNY Delhi this weekend to take part in the NAC West Tournament. The Wildcats earned the #3 seed in the West Division with their 4-4 performance in the regular season. They will take on the #2 Cobleskill Fighting Tigers in the quarterfinal round on Saturday, October 30th at 5:00 PM. The quarterfinal round will also feature the #1 seed SUNY Delhi taking on the #4 seed Cazenovia. That game will also take place at SUNY Delhi. The winning teams in both quarterfinal games will face off on Sunday, October 31st at 12:00 PM.

 

WOMEN'S SOCCER: 

The women's soccer team will also head to SUNY Delhi this weekend to take part in the NAC West Tournament. The Wildcats earned the #4 seed. They will take on the #1 seed and host Delhi in the quarterfinal round on Saturday, October 30th at 11:00 AM. The quarterfinal round will also feature the #2 seed Cazenovia taking on the #3 seeded Canton Roos at 11:00 AM.  That game will take place at Cazenovia College. The winning teams in both quarterfinal games will face off in the semifinal game at Cazenovia on Sunday, October 31st at 12:00 PM.

 

All of the scores and results from this weekend's games will be posted on the SUNY Poly website as soon as they are available. Scores and results will also be available on the NAC website.
