UTICA, NY. – SUNY Poly ran away with second place as they hosted the Wildcat Classic on Saturday. Freshman Lauren Phetteplace (Cortland, N.Y.) and classmate Molly Burdick (Johnson City, N.Y.) finished in the top 3 with times of 24:31 and 26:43 respectively.
HOW IT HAPPENED:
- SUNY Poly finished in second place as a team with a score of 57. Lauren Phetteplace picked up her first 1st place finish of her career. Molly Burdick finished third, her highest finish of the seaon. Kassidy Eng (Staten Island, N.Y.) rounded out the Wildcats top ten finishers in 8th place.
- Although the Wildcats had two top three finishers, Elmira College took first place with a score of 41.
