WVB: Wildcats Defeat Hamilton in Straight Sets to Extend Winning Streak to 13.

MARCY, N.Y. - The SUNY Poly women's volleyball team defeated Hamilton College on Wednesday to extend their winning streak to 13 straight. The Wildcats downed the Continentals in three straight sets 25-21, 25-13, 25-21.

A familiar name had another great match; Morgan Eberley (Utica, N.Y. / Whitesboro HS) had a match high 17 kills. She recorded a hitting percentage of .412 and added 2 service aces and 8 digs to her stat line. Ryenn Smith (Lyons, N.Y. / Lyons Sr./Jr. HS) also put together a nice match compiling 12 kills and 11 digs. Her hitting percentage was an impressive .476 for the match.

The Wildcats hit .313 as a team and registered 42 kills to Hamilton's 29. They also recorded 10 service aces to Hamilton's 4.

The Wildcats will be back in action this upcoming weekend as they host the Wildcat Weekend Tournament. Teams in attendance will be Plattsburgh State, St. John Fisher, and Skidmore. First matches of the tournament will be held on Friday at 7:00 PM.
