WVB: Wildcats Beat Hartwick 3-1 to Secure Their Fifth Consecutive Win.

ONEONTA, N.Y. - The SUNY Poly women's volleyball team traveled to take on Hartwick on Tuesday in a non-conference matchup. The Wildcats grew their win streak to five with a convincing 3-1 victory; 25-21, 27-25, 19-25, 25-23.

For the Wildcats, senior Morgan Eberley (Utica, N.Y. / Whitesboro HS) led the way yet again with a match high 12 kills. She also recorded 15 of the Wildcats 72 digs. Ryenn Smith (Lyons, N.Y. / Lyons Sr./Jr. HS) recorded a team high 16 digs and recorded 7 kills and 2 service aces.

For Hartwick, Kayla Baril had 10 kills, 13 digs, and 3 service aces. Hannah Armstrong had a team high 11 kills and Alyssa Zeitler had a match high 17 digs.    

With the win the Wildcats record improves to 5-2 on the year. The Wildcats head into NEAC Conference play this weekend at Morrisville State where they will play Penn-St. Abington on Saturday at 5:00 PM, Byrn Athyn on Saturday at 7:00 PM, and St. Elizabeth on Sunday at 11:00 AM.
