WSOC: Wildcats Fall to Sage in Non-Conference Play.

ALBANY, N.Y. – The SUNY Poly Women's Soccer team dropped a non-conference game to Sage College on Tuesday. The Wildcats fell behind early, allowing four goals before the half. SUNY Poly could not recover and would lose the game by a final score of 7-1.

NOTABLES:

  • Nakeya Stedman (Sauquoit, N.Y.) scored the only goal of the game for the Wildcats. The goal was her 10th of the season, and 48th of her career.
  • Alysia Thomas (Greenville, N.Y.) recorded 16 saves for SUNY Poly.
  • Hallie Klosterman led Sage with two goals to go along with two assists. Joleen Marfone also had a goal and two assists for the Gators.

The Wildcats will look to bounce back as they travel to NEAC rival Lancaster Bible on Saturday, October 13th. The game is set to begin at 1:00pm in Lancaster, Pennsylvania.
