LANCASTER, PA. – The SUNY Poly Wildcats took to the road for two NEAC Conference games this past weekend against Lancaster Bible and Penn St. Berks. Unfortunately for the Wildcats the weekend did not go according to plan. The team dropped both games by a six goal margin; 7-1 to Lancaster and 6-0 to Berks.

The first game was a rough one for the Wildcats who had to play a man down for much of the game due to conflicts with Friday class schedules. The Wildcats scored just one goal in the game. That goal was scored by Nakeya Stedman (Sauquoit, N.Y.) in the 71st minute. For the Chargers, Abi Brady and Hannah Bernstein had two goals each.

Saturdays game was another tough loss for the Wildcats who were shut out by the Nittany Lions of Penn St. Berks. The Wildcats managed to put just one shot on goal in the game while Berks was able to put a barrage of shots on goal. Brennan Moyer, Dana Sarcinello, and Lizzie Mummau each scored two goals for Berks in the game.

The Wildcats are now 7-3-1 overall and are 4-2 in the NEAC. The Wildcats will be back in action this weekend when they travel to take on Bryn Athyn and Penn St. Abington. Saturdays game against Bryn Athyn is scheduled for a 1:00 PM start. Sundays game against Abington will start at noon.
