WSOC: Waterbury Continues Her Hot Streak; Netting Two in a 3-0 Win Over Wilson.

CHAMBERSBURG, Pa. - The SUNY Poly women's soccer team earned their sixth NEAC Conference win of the season on Saturday in a 3-0 shutout. Wilson College had no answer for the Wildcat offense. The Phoenix recorded only two shots on goal to the Wildcats 17.

The first score of the match came in the 53rd minute off the foot of Brittany Waterbury (Remsen, N.Y. / Remsen HS) when she beat the goalie high to net the unassisted goal.

The Wildcats second goal came on a Wilson own goal.

The third Wildcat goal came again from Waterbury off of a cross from Nakeya Stedman (Sauquoit, N.Y. / Sauquoit HS) in the 81st minute of play. The two goals for Waterbury brings her season total to 13 goals.

The win by the Wildcats brings their record to 8-5-3 (7-1-2 NEAC) which places them in third place in the NEAC. The women will be back in action on Sunday when they travel to Gallaudet. The scheduled start time is 2:00 PM.
