WSOC: Wildcats Down Wells 2-0. Bartlett Records Her Fifth Shutout of the Season

AURORA, N.Y. - The SUNY Poly women's soccer team defeated the Wells College Express on Saturday 2-0 to secure their fifth NEAC Conference win. Both goals for the Wildcats came late in the game. The first with just under 10 minutes left in regulation, and the second just three minutes later.

The Wildcat goals were scored by Julia Jaikin (Dolgeville, N.Y. / Dolgeville HS) and Brittany Waterbury (Remsen, N.Y. / Remsen HS). Jaikin's goal was her seventh of the season. And Waterbury's was her team best ninth goal of the season. Angela Bartlett (West Winfield, N.Y. / Mount Markham HS) recorded 4 saves in the game in route to her fifth shutout of the season.

The win brings the teams overall record to 7-5-2 (5-1-1 NEAC). The Wildcats will travel to Keuka College on Sunday to square off with the third place Wolfpack. The game is scheduled for a 3:00 PM start.
