WSOC: Jaikin and Waterbury Lead Wildcats to 5-1 Win Over SUNY Cobleskill.

MARCY, N.Y. - The SUNY Poly women's soccer team defeated SUNY Cobleskill 5-1 on Saturday thanks to some multiple goal games by two familiar names. Cobleskill was simply overmatched by the Wildcat shooters who put 11 shots on goal in the game.

Julia Jaikin (Dolgeville, N.Y. / Dolgeville HS) recorded a hat trick, scoring two goals in the first half and one with 17:38 remaining in the second. Her goal total for the season is now at six. She is currently just behind Brittany Waterbury (Remsen, N.Y. / Remsen HS) for the team points lead. Waterbury had a big game, scoring two goals and recording two assists for the Wildcats. She now has a team high 18 points this season.

The win brings the Wildcats to 6-3-2 (4-1-1 NEAC) for the season. The Wildcats will travel to Hamilton College to take on the Continentals in a hometown rivalry game. The game is scheduled for a 1:00 PM start.
