MARCY, N.Y. - The SUNY Poly women's soccer team hosted Morrisville State on Sunday in their first NEAC conference home game of the season. The women got the win that they were hoping for. They defeated Morrisville by a score of 3-0. The shutout marks their third of the season.

Nakeya Stedman (Sauquoit, N.Y. / Sauquoit HS) scored two of the Wildcats goals. The first came in the 19th minute of play. The goal, Steadman's third, was unassisted. Her fourth goal of the season came late in the game on a cross from Julia Jaikin (Dolgeville, N.Y. / Dolgeville HS).

Julia Jaikin scored the third goal for the Wildcats at the end of the first half. Jenny Maxam (Clinton, N.Y. / Clinton HS) was given the assist.

Angela Bartlett (West Winfield, N.Y. / Mount Markham HS) recorded her third shutout of the year, second of the weekend, by stopping all four shots that went her way.

The Wildcats will be back in action on Wednesday when they host MCLA. Game time is set for 6:00 PM.
