WLAX: Wildcats Fall to Lions of Bryn Athyn College 15-4

 Marcy, N.Y. –   The SUNY Poly women's lacrosse team (3-6, NEAC 1-4) see conference loss to the Lions of Bryn Athyn College (6-1, NEAC 4-1) in the matchup held at SUNY Polytechnic this past Friday.

 The Wildcats started strong early in the first half, answering quickly to Bryn Athyn's first two goals. The Wildcats fought on as they finished with four goals for the game, all scored by SUNY Poly's Mari Ames (Carthage, N.Y.) The final score was 15-4 in Bryn Athyn's favor.

 

STAT POINTS:

  • Mari Ames scored all four goals for the Wildcats. She improves to 238 total career points for SUNY Poly.
  • Kayla Prosinski (Endwell, N.Y.) had two assists for the Wildcats. Prosinski also picked up eight ground balls and had seven draw controls.
  • Bri Lennox had a game high of ten points for the Lions, scoring nine goals and gaining one assist.
  • Laura Clymer finished with three points for Bryn Athyn College.  

 

UP NEXT:

 The Wildcats will be hosting the Nittany Lions of Penn St. Abington on Sunday April 15th. The game is set to start at 12:00 PM. The Wildcats will be celebrating their senior day before the start of the game.
